There is an innate connection between crafting and memory.

Growing up, I remember spending hours sorting through my mother’s collections of cotton and ribbon, watching her cut and sew patterns or watching my grandmother making intricate pieces of lace work that would one day be passed down to me. Watching them work, I remember thinking I would never have the patience or persistence to create something that intricate, yet here I am years later using those pieces as inspiration to create elements of this collection. The intricate textures minute details and different crafting techniques inspired this collection.
