MOTHERS DAY IS ABOUT YOUR BEST SELF.

April 26, 2020

MOTHERS DAY IS ABOUT YOUR BEST SELF.

Mother’s Day is on  Sunday 10th May. It's fast approaching and this year I want to make it a special event.

Self-isolation doesn't mean we have to stop experiencing art, the joy, and the connection it brings us. This mother's day I am collaborating with some amazing local artists in the shop. We are celebrating all mothers and most importantly your best self. Take this opportunity with beautiful art and considered jewellery all handmade by Sydney local artists is an opportunity to see what some of your locals do best.

To buy something that has been considered by you for someone you hold dear, and to know who made it,  is a rare thing. So this year Connie Dimas Jewellery is collaborating with a few local artisans in a Mother's Day pop up shop. At Connie Dimas Jewellery, 392 New Canterbury rd Dulwich Hill.

The artists Lisa Holzl, Kirstin Vournelis, Monika Lencse, Blaithin Ni Leannain, and Jo Boag, will be showcasing a selection of their work along with my handmade jewellery in my shop. There will be unique ceramics, ceramic jewellery, and beautiful bespoke floral art arrangements.

It is a celebration of mothers but also acknowledging your best self.

We are calling this show: MY MOTHER, MYSELF.

Cheers, See you at the shop.

It is a tricky COVID  time and we will ensure that we will be practicing all the correct and safe social distancing and hygiene practices. We will be admitting two people at a time in the shop. The shop is large enough for this social distancing.
